The companion piece to Genius Loci on Seopjikoji's Phoenix Island headland: a minimalist concrete-and-glass frame perched on a seaside hillock, with sweeping views over the sea to Seongsan Ilchulbong (Sunrise Peak). Houses a gallery and a fusion restaurant. Ando exploits the planar geometry to dissolve the building into the volcanic landscape and the eastern Jeju horizon.
